Center for the Advancement of the Steady State Economy
The Center for the Advancement of the Steady State Economy (CASSE) is a nonprofit organization incorporated by the State of Virginia, USA. The purposes of CASSE are to:

A. Educate citizens and policy makers on the fundamental conflict between economic growth and environmental protection, economic sustainability, national security, and international stability.

B. Promote a steady state economy of stable or mildly fluctuating size as a sustainable alternative to economic growth.

C. Study the means conducive to the establishment of a steady state economy.
